IT'S CHRISTMAS

1 Christmas is coming to the city catalogues are flooding through the post shop decorations, Christmas Pageants — how many shopping days to go?
It's Christmas, it's Christmas,
so much is happening we might miss seeing God as a human being

2 Mary and Joseph and their baby couldn't find a room in Bethlehem nothing is different, nothing changes - is there any room today for them?

3 Out in the paddock angels singing shepherds were counting more than sheep they heard the message, they went looking they didn't get a lot of sleep

4 I like Christmas, I like parties
I like Santa in his sleigh
I like presents but especially
God's Christmas present in the hay

1989. For many years Dorothy and I sang a song or two at the Klemzig Primary School annual carols night. This is the school our children attended, and in 1989 we thought it would be good to have our twin sons, Thom and Jon, play with us, on drums and bass guitar respectively. While trying to think of songs to do with them I imagined a song that would work well - and this was it. And it did!

Back from a Break

During September, Dorothy and I travelled
to Norway and the UK.

After long flights
- Adelaide to Melbourne,
Melb to Dubai (14 hrs),
Dubai to Oslo (7 hrs) -
we did Norway in a nutshell
from Oslo to Bergen, then
the Hurtigruten Cruise
up the west coast of Norway
and back again.
Then an 8 day Trafalgar tour
and 4 days in London,
before taking the direct flight
(16 3/4 hrs)
from Heathrow to Perth.
We're a bit tired (!) but we'll still be a part
of the LWA convention and the
General Convention .

See some of you there.
